Swimming Sports 2016

Results are still to come but there were some brilliant performances with a number of records falling due to some God-given talents on display and lots of hard work from many students in both swimming lessons and training – well done!

Hillary had two wins in the three relays with Snell taking out the last relay and Sheppard were very consistent with three seconds. The final relay of the day saw the staff just hold out the students….with a young student team….the dominance of the staff may be soon a thing of the past.

Until the results are processed, here are a few photos of the day courtesy of Kelly Davis:

What House will win the 2016 Swimming Sports?

We have our School Swimming Sports on Wednesday 24 February from 11.00am-2.30pm at Wharenui Pool. Please find attached a programme and also a list of school records. Parents are welcome to attend and can sit on the door side of Wharenui Pool (turn right as you enter the pool).

All students will need to wear PE gear (or House Colours), bring two towels and their lunch and a drink bottle to the pool. They will all compete in at least TWO events (50m or 25m in each stroke or events for non-swimmers). Students will travel to and from Wharenui by bus.
