Our Year 9/10 Netball team did extremely well today and just missed out on a Semi-final place by one goal in the South Island Secondary Schools Junior Netball tournament.
After beating Lincoln High 26-11 and then Waimate 39-9 they had a heart-breaking loss to Ellesmere College 22-21 in the quarter-finals. Yesterday they beat Mt Hutt College 22-15 and St John Paul College 39-2 before losing to Hillmorton 25-11.
On Wednesday they fight out for 5th-8th place in a field of over 30 schools – all the best in the cold!
We had a super day today at the Year 0-4 Cross Country Challenge. We had lots of fun and it was great to see so many parents supporting our runners who all did their best – and ended up winning 7 of the 8 teams’ events!
