Well done to Luke Mitchell today who qualified for the Primary Sports Canterbury Cross Country team for the 4th year in a row. This is the hardest Canterbury Representative team to get into! Luke came 7th today in the Year 8 Boys at Roto Kohatu Reserve in the Year 7/8 Intermediates v. Primaries Cross Country. The top 10 runners qualify to represent their province.

Luke joins Sam Meecham who has been selected in the team also, after being Canterbury’s top runner last year in the Inter-Regional Cross Country at Hanmer.

Both boys will race in the Inter-Regional Cross Country in Blenheim (IRXC2015) on Thursday 24 September against runners from around the country.

Year 7/8 Canterbury Netball Reps.

We are so thrilled for Fia Lai-Kong and Malia Faitaua-Nanai and thankful to God, for giving them such talents, as they have been selected in the 2015 Primary Sports Canterbury Year 7/8 Netball Rep. teams. This is a tremendous honour and to have two out of the twenty girls from Hillview is outstanding. We also celebrate with Year 7s Winnie Palamo and Maia Te Hae that made the last trial (of 30) but didn’t make the teams this year – well done girls!
