Secondary Schools’ Cross Country 27.5.14

Well done to our 12 runners today in the Canterbury Secondary Schools Cross Country that was held at Halswell Quarry today. It was fantastic to have three teams of four finishing, more that a number of much larger Secondary Schools did.

Best run of the day came from Farran Landers who came an excellent 15th place in the Junior Boys U15 race over 3km. Joshua Walker did very well to get 29th in a field of over 85 in the U14 Boys and Hayley Buckley was our best placed runner in the U14 Girls in 33rd place. All of our runners are to be congratulated on finishing strongly – special thanks to Joel Becker and Fia Palamo who joined the team at the last minute so we could have enough runners to make a team’s result.
