Cross Country Champions!

Well done Hillview Christian School on a brilliant Cross country event today. Children, staff and parents are to be congratulated on superb running, awesome marshaling and great cheering and supporting. Thanks to God for wonderful Cross country weather with not a drop of rain and even the sun appearing for the last events and prize-giving!

All children gave a great effort and the standard was exceptionally high with 11 race records broken out of  the 20 events! That is outstanding.

Full results will appear later tonight on this blog. Well done to all who finished and achieved their goals, to those who finished in the top six and made the Hillview Cross Country team, to those who stood on the podium and to our new champions and also new record holders.

Cross Country 18.4.13

Tomorrow we hope to run the School Cross-Country. However, the weather forecast is not looking positive. We are planning to run this event unless there are constant downpours. Please send your child to school with warm gear e.g. tracksuit pants, coat etc. If this event has to be postponed, the NEW POSTPONEMENT DATE will be Tuesday 7 May (Term 2, Week 1). The order of races will be changed for this postponement date in order to allow the Year 7/8 pupils to attend Technology in the afternoon – please check the sports blog. A decision on whether the cross country is on will be made by 11.00am. Please check our cancellation line after 11.00am by dialing 332 6923 then 3.
